Hi, I’m Bonnie! I understand that growth and change can be difficult, and am so happy that you've already taken the first step in looking for support. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where we can work together to explore your emotions, experiences, and challenges and help you on your journey toward finding personal fulfillment. I use a person centered approach where I integrate Strengths Based, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques that are tailored to your specific needs. I have proven experience working with individuals and families from a range of backgrounds having trouble adjusting to challenges.
I have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues in a range of individuals. With my background as a former school counselor and my time spent working at an outpatient mental health clinic, I’ve had the opportunity to treat children, teens, and young adults with various mental health and familial challenges. In my private practice, I’ve enjoyed supporting individual adults as they manage the stress of life and career transitions, navigating relationship difficulties, and working toward personal growth. Since becoming a parent, I’ve also focused part of my practice on supporting women and couples in their postpartum and parenting wellness journeys. For those who are not interested in delving too deep into their past and want to primarily focus on being their best selves moving forward, I offer solution focused coaching services as well.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, working out, reading, going to concerts and sporting events, and spending time with my husband, two children, and my dogs Lucy and Stella.
I look forward to getting to know you and working together to meet your specific needs in order to support you in meeting your personal goals. I utilize both in person and virtual (video therapy) formats for adults and teens. Children are seen in-person only at this time.
